Enter around the back of the property, taking in the wonder of the natural beauty that surrounds you, before stepping into the kitchen area of the open-plan living space; a modest area, however housing a wide range of appliances to assist the chef of the group in preparing any family-favourite meal all while surrounded by a stunning, contemporary interior. Accompanying the kitchen is a dining area where you can gather together for quality time, or choose to dine alfresco in the summer months on the raised artificial grass area, with the flourishing fields as your backdrop. Moving back through the room you can find the sitting area tucked at the rear, with two plush leather sofas, here you can unwind whilst playing a game from the cupboard or simply enjoy some quiet time in front of the television to end your evening. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off-road parking. Front lawned garden and rear gravelled area with multi-level artificial grassed area. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 6.7 miles, pub 7 miles. Note: Due to the location of the property, dogs must be on a lead when outside due to live stock in the adjacent field

Wow! What can I say? This little cottage gave us a week of relaxation between house moves (and a ideal self-isolation place during the Covid-19 outbreak) in an ideal location to access the beautiful region of Dumfries & Galloway. The cottage is only 1 mile from Ae forest, ideal for keen bikers like me and my family, or just for walking. The cottage was immaculate, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and everything had been considered. Very refreshing to work through a kitchen and find relevant utensils rather than hope they are there. Outside, the hard landscaping has been well considered with artificial lawn to the rear, a large terrace to the front and gravel elsewhere, ensuring a clean and dry site, and that minimal dirt was brought into the house. The only criticism I would make is that the driveway was difficult to drive into due to the depth of the gravel! This is the best rental cottage we have ever taken. We have a lot of family who visit from overseas and I would definitely book this for them.
