Sleeping up to four guests, Bwthyn Y Felin is ideal for couples and friends seeking a countryside escape. The cottage sits on a country lane with private parking for two cars. After a busy day exploring, a charming living room welcomes you with a woodburning stove, two armchairs and a sofa, equipped with a Smart TV, books and games for a relaxing afternoon. The contemporary kitchen/diner is a pleasant setting for rustling up your favourite dishes; it provides a fridge/freezer, an electric oven and hob, and a dining table for four, ideal for family dinners. Whatever the weather, the conservatory offers a sanctuary overlooking the garden for socialising or reading. Heading upstairs, you will find two double bedrooms, decorated with soft colours for a peaceful setting and with plenty of storage space for your belongings. The bathroom contains a bath with shower over, a single basin with a mirror above and under floor heating where you can prepare for your day in style. Bwthyn Y Felin boasts a beautiful, enclosed gravel garden with plenty of seating areas to enjoy warm evenings, dining alfresco or quietly taking in the rural surroundings. If you’re hoping to explore the Llyn Peninsula, Bwthyn Y Felin is the perfect base, and is a short drive or walk away from the local convenience store, and a short drive to a traditional Welsh pub. For more shops, pubs and restaurants, Pwllheli is located just south of the cottage, a quaint seaside town renowned for its stunning scenery, coastal walks, watersports and wildlife, such as seals, seabirds and dolphins. A little further east, you will find the town of Criccieth with sparkling sea views and plenty of historical sites to visit, such as Criccieth castle, Penarth Fawr, a medieval hall house, and the holy site of St Cybi’s Well. Abersoch is well worth a trip to explore the end of Llyn Peninsula, which is a bustling seaside resort offering boat trips along the stunning coastline to other islands, an abundance of cafes, and is a popular choice for annual events such as music festivals. Note: The parking is approx 50 metres away from the cottage. Note: Weekly bookings are to be Friday to Friday only, short break bookings can be either Friday or Monday changeover.
