Nice quiet setting. Like the open plan lay out downstairs. Barn accommodates 8 , enough crockery for 800, but dining room table only really suitable for 6 adults. Shame as there’s enough room for a bigger table. As mentioned in a previous reviews there is a hole in the fence in the far right hand corner of the garden. This needs to be fixed as our cocker almost got out. Wifi a bit ropey so difficult to check weather/ book days out. Bedrooms adequate size but sinks in bathroom tiny. Beds not great, so important after a busy day out to have a good nights sleep. On the whole though despite these minor gripes a good base for a family holiday. Just a few minor tweaks needed to make better.
Lovely home , very new and clean! The carpet upstairs is very plush :-) Good facilities, shame we were there in wet weather as would have been nice to have been able to sit outside. Tesco superstore is about 15 mins away, Alton towers 25 mins away, local Chinese in hixton was very good! Kitchen had everything we needed. We purchased some logs for the log fire to use too Great place!
