There is also two shower rooms, one of which is on the ground-floor, as well as a kitchen and a living/dining room with a gas fire. Outside, there is off-road parking available for two cars, as well as a large terrace and lawned garden with outdoor furniture. Awel-Y-Mor is a wonderful property for a Cornish holiday by the coast.

This charming detached property sits on a residential road that runs straight down to Crooklets Beach, in the heart of the coastal town of Bude, on Cornwall's north coast. Awel-Y-Mor is an ideal property for a family or group of six guests wanting to enjoy a coastal escape, taking advantage of the nearby sandy beaches and excellent surf on offer from North Cornwall's Atlantic waves. The property offers parking for three cars off-road, as well as a large courtyard garden with immaculate lawn and a seating area, where you can enjoy breakfast and a morning coffee in the pleasant Cornish sunshine. Head inside the property to discover a contemporary kitchen with cream units and powder blue painted walls offering a beach feel, fully-equipped with all of the appliances you'll need during to create delicious meals, which can be enjoyed in the living/dining room at the dining table. After dinner, move over to the sofas and relax beside the electric fire, enjoying a family film night on the TV. When it's time for a good night's rest, head upstairs to discover three bright and airy, carpeted bedrooms, comprising a double, a twin which has a zip/link feature and can be made into a super-king-size, as well as a single room with truckle bed, ideal for children. There are two shower rooms, one on each floor, where you can prepare for each day, while the ground-floor room houses a washing machine for added convenience, should you have wet and sandy clothes to clean after a day of beach fun. The property is within walking distance of a host of amenities, shops, café, pubs and restaurants, as well as a lake, a golf course and a choice of three picturesque beaches. Spend the day at Bude Sea Pool, a semi-natural pool that is popular for swimming and paddleboarding, while Crooklets Beach has excellent surf and Summerleaze Beach has colourful beach huts and rockpools to explore. The 19th century Bude Castle offers a history museum, art gallery & cafe and is also a popular venue for weddings, while the magnificent South West Coast Path runs right through the town, which walkers can join to explore the coastline in either direction. Head north along the Hartland Cornwall Heritage Coast to find unspoiled, cliff-backed beaches, and continue towards Devon and the picturesque harbour village of Clovelly, with its museums, RNLI Lifeboat Museum, stunning waterfall, idyllic harbour and family-friendly beach. Head south along the coastal path towards Pentire Point, passing Boscastle's Pentargon Waterfall, The Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, the National Trust's Rocky Valley, St Nectan's Glen nature reserve and dramatic waterfall, towards Tintagel's legendary castle, which was the birthplace of King Arthur, as well as Merlin's Cave and the National Trust's Glebe Cliff. Awel-Y-Mor is a fantastic base from which to explore North Cornwall's stunning coastline.

Bude is a fabulous coastal town on the North Cornwall coast, with great beaches, rockpools and cafés with coastal views. The rolling waves are great for surfing all year round, and the footpaths by the restored canal or along the South West Coast Path offer you a superb opportunity to explore the coast and countryside. Bude has a castle, heritage centre, a superb golf course, indoor swimming pool, bowling alley/indoor play area and a good selection of local shops, supermarkets, cafés, pubs ad restaurants.
