Over-under properties are unique to this area and from the exterior this charming home appears to be an everyday terrace house, but after entering the front door at street level you will find that once you glance out of the bedroom window at the back of the house, with delightful views over the River Holme, you are three storeys up! Ideal for a romantic getaway, be welcomed into an open-plan living space the moment you step through the door, with a well-equipped kitchen wonderfully appointed to the front of the cottage. Choose this self-catering property and look forward to cooking up a storm, you’ll never be short of supplies with four quality farm shops stocking fantastic Yorkshire produce, all within a ten mile radius. After a day of adventure, curl up with your partner on the chaise lounge sofa and tune into the wall-mounted TV with complementary Netflix account, and WiFi for all your entertainment needs. The cottage was beautifully decorated, had everything we needed for our stay and we were made to feel so welcome. Clearly lots of care had gone in to making sure the cottage was well equipped and the little extras made such a difference - a Netflix account for us and treats left for the dogs kept everyone happy! The bedroom has beautiful views out the window down to river and the bathroom, although compact, had been very well laid out and had a brilliant shower! Cottage was spotlessly clean and the location was great, plenty of options for eating out and just a short walk to the shops meant we never needed to use the car. Although parking isn’t available directly outside the cottage I had no problems parking on the side of the road just past the cottage - there was always a space available.
