Vine cottage is in a stunning location and looks very pretty. There is a lovely beach just a minute away and lots of walks. We enjoyed our stay but was disappointed with the outside facilities described as a garden and courtyard. There is no garden and the courtyard is just a dilapidated area under the kitchen window with pots of dead flowers, calor gas bottles and a table and chairs I personally would have taken to the rubbish tip long ago. It is next to a communal driveway and sits in the shade of the neighbours 20 foot hedge. Our dog could not go outside so we were disappointed at this. The place is a bit tired and the cleaning could be better. Linen is stored under the beds without covers or boxes which isn't very hygienic and we had to was many plates before we could use them. The hairdryer is a relic of the 80s so take your own, I let my hair dry naturally it was much quicker!! The parking spaces are very narrow so care when parking is needed . I would return to Studland but not Vine cottage.
