St David's 8 miles. Situated a short walk away from the dramatic Pembrokeshire coastline, within the quaint Welsh village of Trefin is the traditional cottage, Pant y FFynnon. This real home from home is ideal for families seeking to explore the beauty of this part of Wales’ rugged coast, filled with superb walks, picturesque scenery and glorious beaches. After an action-packed day on the beach, step into the property and enter the kitchen, where you find all the essentials, catering to your culinary needs, including an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freeze, accompanied by a dishwasher to serve as a helping hand when doing the dishes. The property also boasts a washing machine and tumble dryer, so that you can wash and dry your clothes after a family day at the beach. Once dinner is cooked, head into the dining room, brimming with character to tuck into a home-cooked meal whilst gathered around the dining table and admiring the feature stove. Gather your snacks from the kitchen and settle down for the evening within the sitting room, where a plush seating arrangement rests around a woodburning stove, gently filling the room with warmth during those winter evenings. Head upstairs where you can relax and unwind in one of the two bedrooms, comprising of a family bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed, and a king-size bedroom, both designed to offer a flexible sleeping arrangement to suit the needs of any party make up. For balmy afternoons, table and chairs are situated within the rear terrace area, offering an alternative dining arrangement for you and your loved ones to enjoy the sunshine. The cottage is situated in Trefin, a small quiet village within the Pembrokeshire National Park approximately half way between St Davids and Fishguard. It is within a five minute walk of the coast path and ten minutes from a small cove. The village has a pub and a cafe serving food. The nearest shop is 5 minutes drive away and the picturesque harbour villages of Abercastle and Porthgain (with pub and award winning seafood restaurant) are just 30 minutes walk along the coast path or a short drive. There are numerous beautiful walks and beaches within a short distance of the house, some of which are walk-able. North Pembrokeshire has also become a centre for outdoor activities such as sea kayaking, surfing, coasteering and climbing. St David's is Britain's smallest city and has a dramatic cathedral and Bishop's Palace as well as some excellent restaurants and interesting shops. Solva is a boating centre and has a beautiful harbour with the best crab fishing opportunities. Trefin is 8 miles from St Davids & 10 miles from Fishguard. Furthermore, the area is ideal for those with children, with Oakwood Theme Park and a Dinosaur Park, as well as the magnitude of beaches to enjoy.Pant y FFynnon is a wonderful property for a coastal getaway.

The small village of Penparc can be found resting just off the A487, between Fishguard and St Davids, justt 15 miles away from Haverfordwest. From the village, you can explore the rugged coastline of Pembrokeshire and explore the beaches, where you will find opportunities for windsurfing, enjoy boat trips to the local islands or walk part of the coastal path. Close by is the city of St Davids with its variety of unique gift shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs.

Location Details

The delightful, historic village of Trefin rests on Pembrokeshire's northern coastline, moments' away from a rocky cove and the renowned Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. The village hosts a friendly cafe, Caffi y Ragna, along with a traditional pub, The Ship Inn; meaning guests are well-catered to during their stay here. Guests can travel to St Davids, a picturesque city which hosts a selection of amenities and an idyllic harbour, whilst also enjoying ample access to the beaches of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, such as Whitesands Bay and Porthselau, where an array of watersports can be partaken in!
