Reviews

If you want a bit of luxury in a ridiculously peaceful and beautiful hamlet in North Yorkshire then you couldn’t go far wrong with this cottage. Beautifully appointed with all the little refinements you hope for in a top notch holiday stay. From the funky VW special edition fridge to the blue Aga in the kitchen. Bluetooth speaker in the lounge and a TV in each bedroom. Lovely walks right from the front door and a welcoming pub 200 yards away. For stocking up Pickering has a large Coop and a Lidl together with green grocers, butchers and bakers. Make sure you do the circular Hole of Horcum walk (7 miles) which has spectacular views and an easy path to walk on. They even supplied a bottle of Prosecco as a romantic touch. Towels are supplied together with dish cloths and a few dishwashing tablets to get you going. If you want to eat at the pub make sure to book ahead.

If the drive into Levisham doesn’t take your breath away this accommodation will do! Literally every little thing has been thought of from the electric car charging point to the hot water to wash your bike down outside. So much thought has been put into every little detail with the cottage being extremely well appointed. The information pack was very thorough and helpful. Ten minutes from Pickering which is an excellent place to visit with plenty to do. The pub is 100 yards from the cottage which serves a varied, quality menu and is extremely busy (always a good sign!) I’d recommend booking to avoid disappointment. We’ve already booked to go again in 2021, you will not be disappointed.
