It is set within eighteen acres of enchanting woodland where red squirrels and deer can be seen, and is at the heart of some of the Lake District's finest walks, making it the perfect choice for a family or two couples seeking a scenic escape. Step into a lovely, open style living, dining and kitchen area, where your eyes will be drawn to the large, attractive glass patio doors with pleasant woodland views. Relax on the snug sofa and enjoy the natural light flooding into this dual aspect space, or venture into the neat, fitted kitchen and imagine tasty family meals you can enjoy in this welcoming dining area. Take a downhill walk to the small hamlet of Skelwith Bridge and enjoy a drink by the river at the well-loved vegetarian café and gallery, Chesters; from here, take the riverside walk past the waterfall at Stock Ghyll and across open meadows to the pretty village of Elterwater. You are perfectly placed to experience some of the most spectacular and idyllic trails in the Lake District, or for a fun-filled day out in close reach of your accommodation, be sure to visit the on-site clubhouse, available March to mid November (Pool is currently closed), it offers guests table tennis and recreational area, providing fun for all of the family.
