Tideswell is located in the middle of the Peak District National Park, making it an ideal location for tourists. Famous for its St. John the Baptist church, often known as "The Cathedral of the Peak," and for its well-dressed and carnival wakes, the community is well recognised. To the north, there are rocky mountains, to the south, there are beautiful hills and dales, and Millers Dale is located right outside the settlement. Mam Tor, Castleton, and Buxton are all within a 15-minute drive of one other. Tideswell is home to numerous charming rural inns, as well as a pharmacist, butcher, and baker, as well as a supermarket open daily until 10:00 p.m.
