Enjoying its own garden with a luxurious hot tub, along with rustic decor that retains original barn features, Tegfan Barn has been beautifully finished. Step into the open-plan living space and discover a homely setting, with an exposed stone wall to one end which houses the fireplace and woodburning stove, you can wind down on the plush seating before the fire, with a TV to watch too, there's also a sofa bed for any additional guests. A neat fitted kitchen space has everything you need to make some tasty home-cooked meals, including an electric oven and two-ring hob, microwave and fridge, with further appliances including a freezer and a washing machine found in the ground-floor shower room. Dine at the stylish dining table and chairs or delight in making the most of the sunny weather in summer and dine alfresco on your own patio next to the hot tub, afterwards taking a dip in the bubbling hot waters as the sun goes down. Follow the stairs up to the mezzanine first-floor level to find the lovely double bedroom, with a snug feel up in the apex eaves, while the sofa bed in the sitting area provides a sleeping spot for two more guests. Venture out to the nearby town of Rhayader for anything you may need, from supermarkets for ingredients, cafés and tearooms for afternoon treats, to delicious pub grub and well-deserved drinks following a day of walking, Rhayader can cater to you. Our 3rd visit and as always amazing stay. View is lovely and the welcome pack was cupcakes, lemonade and hot choc, tea bags etc. Lovely little touch :) Everything you need, utensil wise along with extras such as a cafetiere. Everything lovely and cleans, towels provided and hot tub was lovely, again super clean. Great place and will be back again. Tip for anyone staying, easier to drive into places than walk, roads are 60 and there is no paths to get to st harmon. Well none that we have found! Parking is easy too, enough space for my estate car to get in and out.
