Greatstone, or Greatstone-on-Sea, is a charming village resting on the Kent coast. Home to a sandy beach which is reguarly 'washed' by the tide of the English Channel, it's a lovely spot for holidaymakers. The village is home to a local convenience shop and a pub, with beachfront cafés and shops scattered in the neighbouring villages and the town of New Romney around a mile away providing further selection. The beach is popular for a range of wind sports thanks to the flat, sandy beach, with kite buggies, kite boarding, kite surfing and kite flying seen regularly on the beach.

Reviews
The stairs up to it were not as expected as they were not shown on any pictures on the web site. The apartment on arrival looked ok, fantastic view over the channel, BUT after settling in we realised the flat was infested with animal fleas as we were bitten on our feet and legs and on closer inspection it wasn’t really very clean. Surely after any guests with dogs there should be some sort of special cleaning regime used and also do you check that the animals coming into the apartment are treated for fleas? It spoilt our Christmas break and we left early as we couldn’t stand it any more.
