Bridgnorth 3.9 miles. The Garden Lodge is a delightful, single storey lodge set in the owner’s extensive mature garden, within the hamlet of Criddon. The Garden Lodge offers a delightful base for couples to call home, providing access to many quaint towns and villages in Shropshire. .

The market town of Bridgenorth rests in the county of Shropshire in the heart of England. The River Servern splits the town into two parts; The High Town and the Low Town. The town was once considered one of the busiest river ports in Europe, but nowadays, the Severn, clear and unpolluted, is a quiet haven for anglers, walkers and wildlife. Within the town there is a choice of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, along with a lively Saturday market where visitors can pick up local goodies.

Reviews

The Garden Lodge is a well appointed accommodation which has excellent amenities, all set in beautiful gardens which is busy with wildlife & many species of birds! The lodge is ideally located for walking, cycling & in our case, geocaching with many series close by! Bridgnorth is just a few miles away & has lots of tourist attractions & unique shops to explore. Liz & Andy are great hosts, providing a generous welcome pack & delicious home made scones & jam! We would not hesitate to return but this time in warmer climes to fully appreciate the garden!

Stayed for 2 weeks and could not fault it. A clean, nicely furnished, comfortable lodge set in a peaceful location but within easy reach of Bridgnorth. The accommodation has everything you need for an enjoyable stay and the welcome pack is good. The owners are very friendly and helpful if you need anything. The garden area would be a lovely place to sit in the summer and an added bonus is all the different birds that you see there.
