Set over two floors and sleeping up to five guests, Callow Fold benefits from a rural location, a private garden whilst also having use of owner’s garden with outdoor heated swimming pool, and easy access to the stunning surrounding areas of Church Stretton and Ludlow. Be welcomed into the open-plan living space with kitchen, dining and seating area, where you can look forward to whipping up delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, with handy washing machine and dishwasher, making cleaning up a breeze! Gather around the dining table to savour a hearty meal and toast to the wonderful adventures to come. Retreat to the sofa with a glass of wine and immerse yourself in your favourite show on the TV. Wake-up from your slumber and join your guests on the private lawn for morning coffee, before exploring the grounds and taking a dip in the swimming pool. Take the short drive to Church Stretton where you can soak up panoramic views at the Long Mynd, Bur Way Viewpoint, with hikes along the Carding Mill Valley and Devil’s Mouth nearby, you will also find a good selection of pubs and restaurants, perfect for those nights where you don’t feel like cooking. Another short drive away you’ll find the local town of Craven Arms, where you will find the local supermarket of Harry Tuffyns to stock up on your supplies,The Land of Lost Content which houses a variety of historical hidden treasures, The Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre which details the regional history, hosts cooking classes and has an on-site café where you can tuck-in to a coffee and a cake before enjoying a scenic walk along the River Onny. This place is beautiful. The most stunning views. Panoramic views from cabin windows. The cabin is well equipped, warm, spacious and has a lovely big powerful shower. Has a lovely decking area and a bbq/fire pit we've used every night. The owners house is set back so you arent overlooked at all. The owner Derek is very helpful and even left fresh flowers and a bottle of wine on arrival. There's plenty of towels, cleaning products and toilet rolls and toiletries for you to use. Beds are comfortable. Barney the owners dog is lovely and friendly but doesn't intrude and only comes over when called. The shropshire hills are stunning. Carding mill valley was one of our favourite walks but they are all beautiful. Really loved our stay and will be sad to leave. Definitely coming back real soon.
