Reviews

The cottage is lovely, there is everything you could need to make it a 'home from home '. There is nothing they haven't thought of. The area is beautiful, a pub within walking distance (2 mins), a local shop (10 mins), and a few craft shops. Plenty of things to do during the day, walks, Ingleton Falls to visit. Can highly recommend!

This cottage is simply perfect! We've just got back from spending Christmas there, and just cannot fault it. The cottage is extremely spacious, well equipped with lots of extra touches (2 Amazon Alexas, Firestick in bedroom, Smart TV etc) and well thought out. Incredibly well stocked kitchen with every utensil, pan, chopping board and bowl your heart could desire- there's even chopsticks!! There's a great pub within 2 min walk, a Coop with 5 mins and 10 mins into the village centre. Loads to see and do in surrounding area Inc stunning waterfalls, caves and excellent walking/cycling trails. We cannot wait to return!

Loved our first post-lockdown holiday at this beautiful cottage. Very cosy, well-equipped with lots of home comforts. It was a perfect environment for our 2-year-old who loved all the toys and books available in the cottage. Really enjoyed visiting the area around Ingleton - the Ingleborough Estate Nature Walk and a day out in Kirkby Lonsdale were particular highlights. A visit to the Seasons bakery in Ingleton is a must too!

Well what a lovely little find. I always try and book based on other reviews but this was a new cottage. Decided to take a risk anyway and we’re glad we did. The cottage is placed just a short walk away from the centre of town and perfectly around the corner from a pub which serves great food. Winner! Whilst we were there we tried a couple of bars and pubs and all of them were great. I particularly liked the friendly ambience in ‘The Post Office’. Some cute little shops including a great bakery are right on the doorstep. There’s a pump track for kids (and adults!), a great antique place (Lords) and we particularly loved the waterfall trail which is at the top of our recommendations. The actual cottage is very spacious and packed with everything you might need for your stay. Well equipped kitchen including wine fridge (bonus!), loads of toys and games for the kids as well as a games console. The beds were comfortable and the cottage was exceptionally clean. What more could you ask for? Oh yes, a bit of Yorkshire sunshine.

Absolutely loved it here!!! What a fab place to stay. The accommodation was excellent. Comfortable and warm with everything available that you might need, honestly haven't stayed anywhere else that was this equipped! Really decorated beautifully too and obviously well looked after, very clean. The property is in such a perfect location to explore. Close to all the amenities you might need, shops, bars, restaurants... and close to all the fantastic attractions. So much to see and do here, had such a great week! Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend to anyone looking for great place to stay

EXCELLENT myself, my wife my 4 year old boy visited in October, it’s safe to say we will be visiting again in the near future. The cottage was lovely clean and tidy. The bedrooms were very spacious, the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything that you would require. The front room had a selection of toys/games which had a Nintendo console, which my 4 year old boy boy (and me) really enjoyed. The log burner stove was very welcoming after our long walk to Ingleton Falls (it’s a must). The Masons pub across the road served very nice food and had a large selection of beverages, Seasons bakery is worth a visit. The pump track is right behind the bakery which my 4 year old son loved on his scooter and bike. Lords antiques is also worth a visit as is The White Scar Caves. We’d recommend staying here to anyone. Absolutely loved it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was a bit hesitant to book this cottage as it it was new on Sykes and had no reviews but saw the pictures and the log burner and decided straight away. What a lovely place. Wine on arrival which was very welcome. The cottage has everything. The wine chiller was a good idea. Plenty of space for my beers:) Loads of books and toys in the living room. Would be a perfect place for families too. Even had a retro console which took me back to my youth. The wife had to drag me off it. Bed was very comfortable and good that it had a en suite bathroom in master bedroom. Pubs around are all good. The Masons which is only 2 mins down the road is a perfect local. Good old pub grub and lovely warm atmosphere and great beers. The other half loves gin and this place is stocked up with lots of different ones. Marton arms is also good. Just make sure you wrap up in winter as its a bit further away. Did the water fall trail again, its lovely in any weather. Would 100 percent go again. Have recommended to my son and he has booked to go with the fiance and the kids in summer. Might gate crash that one:) 5 STAR COTTAGE !
