Enjoying views of the sea from the large front bay windows, Grand View is just a short walk from all the amenities of Tynemouth and the all important beach. Step through the communal hallway and in through Grand View's front door to be welcomed into the open-plan living space with lofty, high ceilings featuring beautiful period features and detailing from when the property was originally built. A lovely dining table with bench seating sits in the corner, with the sitting area in the middle of the room consisting of a large leather sofa, a TV and a homely electric fire set within an elegant fireplace. Travel over to the kitchen to enjoy the vibrant electric blue fitted units, this contemporary space holding all the essentials for a self-catered stay including an electric oven and hob and a fridge with an ice box, as well as a breakfast bar. Head to the back of the flat to find the lovely double bedroom, as well as the excellent tiled shower room. Grand View has a front patio area overlooking the street with some outdoor furniture, so you can relax with an evening drink and watch the world go by before heading out to find a fabulous restaurant to dine in. This scenic town rests just north of the mouth of the River Tyne on the north east coast of England. This is a wonderful coastal holiday destination, Tynemouth is rich with history holding fascinating buildings such as the Spanish Battery and the Tynemouth Priory and Castle. Take a trip around the great range of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, you will never want to leave! In terms of activities, the town offers an aquarium, a golf course, a variety of parks and a stunning beach with a pier and a stunning lighthouse. The bustling city of Newcastle is a short journey away, offering elite shopping, eating and drinking as well as museums and galleries. The beautiful city of Durham is also accessible by car, it offers beautiful buildings and a rich history.

Very pleased with our stay here. Lovely modern decor with homely touches. Perfect location (1 minute walk to beach), close to Tynemouth for bars/shops/restaurants. Good base camp to explore Northumberland coastline. We had beautiful weather and found ourselves on the beach most mornings having breakfasts at Cruesoes. Owners provided us with some essentials which was a nice touch. Deffo recommend eating at Hinnies in Whitley Bay (get there before 7pm for the offer!). Shocked at how many good places to eat and drink around the Fish Quay. Lovely property, would absolutely stay again.
Wow!! 5* apartment, you can tell the owners take pride in the upkeep of this place! Newly renovated with all of the amenities you could need. The location can not be beat, just steps away from award winning Tynemouth Longsands Beach. Lots of great coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance! Highly recommend, we are already planning our next visit!
