An alley takes you to the property's entrance, where a handy utility section greets you at the door. Enjoy a family games night in the sitting room, perching on one of three leather sofas. Resting behind is the kitchen/diner where you'll find a grand dining table where all guests can sit around and catch-up over a home-cooked meal made using the amenities in the kitchen, or if you're feeling cheeky, you can order from Cranfield Chinese takeaway. Take your pick between three charming twin rooms, all with flourishes of a bright sunflower theme, decorated with yellow and grey features. This cottage boasts two showers in two bathrooms, there is a luxurious main bathroom complete with roll top bath, separate shower and WC, and another shower room saving heaps of time when everyone is rushing to ready in the morning. Reviews
Stayed here this weekend with a group of friends. The property is lovely and so well-equipped. Plenty of seating for a large family or group in the dining room/kitchen and the living room. Comfy beds and spotlessly clean. Our host was helpful and welcoming but we were able to come and go as we pleased and the layout of the properties gives you plenty of privacy. In the kitchen, there was everything you need to cook - including lots of utensils and even a few gadgets that you wouldn’t usually be supplied with. The TV is huge! And there is a DVD player and Sky, too. The bathroom features a lovely large tub for a good soak and it was nice to find hand cream and soap available, too. A few local takeaways deliver - we opted for Indian - and you are really close to local shops etc… but still feel that you are very much in the quiet of the country side. Lots of hard standing parking and a lovely view across the lake. We will be back! Thank you!
