Resting just a stone's throw away from the North York Moors National Park, on the banks of the River Leven, is the picturesque village of Hutton Rudby. Offering a selection of charming pubs serving tasty hot food, as well as a Post Office and a convenience store, this village makes a wonderful setting for an escape to the English countryside. Surrounded by magnificent landscapes, outdoor enthusiasts will relish in long scenic walks and exciting cycling tours of the North York Moors, whilst avid historians will delight in trips to see local landmarks such as Whorlton Castle and the National Trust Owned Mount Grace Priory, or wandering vibrant galleries and imposing cathedrals in Middlesbrough and York.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

We were the first people to stay in this cottage and can highly recommend it. The decoration and facilities are to an extremely high standard, the owners could not be more helpful and there are two dog friendly pubs in the village. Great walking all around of course - we particularly liked going to Roseberry Topping and up into the hills from Osmotherley. An excellent place to get away from it all.
