Castle Hedingham is a charming village, perfectly positioned within the luscious Colne Valley. Dating all the way back to the medieval times, the village is home to a striking Norman castle exuding a rich history. A post office with a well-stocked shop and two welcoming pubs can be found at the centre of the village offering all the essential amenities for a stress-free self-catering holiday to the Essex countryside. The villages of Little Maplestead and Sible Hedingham can be found just a stone's throw away, whilst both the towns of Braintree and Sudbury can be reached within a short drive.
