Location Details
Combe Martin is located at the intersection of the Exmoor National Park and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. In addition to its own Dinosaur Park, this little seaside resort boasts all the required services for both locals and tourists alike. In May, the town of Combe Martin hosts the famous Earl of Rone Festival, and in August, it hosts a carnival. From here, you can easily visit nearby attractions such as Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, and Ilfracombe and Barnstaple, which are all within easy driving distance. Numerous National Trust properties and gardens can also be explored. Woolacombe offers some of the best surfing in the South West, and the South West Coastal Path runs beside it for a mile. Combe Martin is a wonderful starting point for a beach vacation, with much to do for the whole family.
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Superb property in a stunning location. There is everything in the property that you need. Just turn up with clothes and food. It was spotlessly clean. Fantastic amenities with three fridges, two freezers and two sinks. An aga and conventional oven for cooking. Washing machine, tumble dryer and outdoor clothes dryer. Large indoor dining room. Dining table in the kitchen and two outdoor eating spaces We were able to visit Coombs Martin, ilfracombe and woolacombe which were just a short drive away. Plenty of off road parking. Stunning views. So much space for every member of the family to indulge in what they wanted to do without impacting on others. Loved the lounge and games room. It states not suitable for children but I would disagree as the enclosed back garden is eminently suitable. Would definitely return. Took my daughters dog with us and found that poo bags and doggie treats had been provided. Welcome basket for humans including wine. Chocolates and filter coffee. Large Tesco store 11 minutes drive away . The only suggestion I would have is the need for an electric charging point for vehicles. We did find one in Coombe Martin within a few minutes walk to the beach but I would imagine in high season it would be more difficult to access. Overall though a fabulous property available at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend and will definitely be retuning
