Reviews

Warm, welcoming and ideal for anywhere both north and south of the Forth. This felt like home from home and it was great to relax in our own space at the end of the day. The kitchen is well equipped and good quality products provided. Instruction manuals provided. Also cleaning materials and a mini pack of tablets/pods for dishwasher and washing machine Plenty of wooden hangers in the wardrobe along with a hair dryer and straighteners! Lots of storage space in both bedrooms. Huge, comfortable couch for watching TV and or DVDs. Not a huge TV but adequate for holidays. Excellent WiFi signal so you can easily connect your own devices for Netflix, etc. Lots of lights and lamps. Being 5'3" I loved being able to lie down in the bath! Shower is great with bags of pressure. We're planning on coming back to stay in the future. One of the best things is the welcome pack - Scottish goodies inc milk, oat cakes, jam, tea bags, coffee, chocolate macaroon, shortbread and prosecco. Thank you for this xx

Our first impression was of a well-appointed, scrupulously clean apartment. This impression remained for the two weeks of our stay. Everything seemed to have been anticipated to make the stay enjoyable. The proximity to two delightful beaches, access to the Fife coastal path and ease of travel to Edinburgh (by train and car), for example, makes this an excellent base

Clean comfortable, well equipped. We loved loved the fact Pets were NOT allowed! We always chose Pet free. The apartment is large and bright and is on the high street of Aberdour near a delicious local Bakery, Newsagent, Pharmacy, Post Office / Delicatessen, and Pub. Easy assess to walking the Fife Way. Five minutes walk to the sandy beach, the park has a really well equipped children's play area on the way down to the sea. The welcome pack was full of essentials and some wonderful thoughtful treats ! This was appreciated after a really long drive. Milk for a cuppa was great too!.

Very spacious and comfortable for a holiday rental. Furnished to a high standard and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed! The location is amazing with local pubs, shops and restaurants on the doorstep. A short and pleasant walk to 2 stunning beaches and great transport links to Edinburgh via train. Excellent property for a family or a small group of friends, I will definitely plan on staying here again next time I'm in the area!

The flat is perfect for any length of stay. It’s so cozy and inviting, as well as spacious, comfortable and well-equipped - an ideal home from home. I particularly loved sitting in the armchair in the main bedroom in the morning light. The kitchen is great for self-catering, it has everything you could possibly need, including a large dining table with plenty of room for everyone. The flat is in a great location, both in Aberdour - minutes from the beach and local shops - and for exploring further afield. We loved our stay and couldn’t recommend 32 High Street more highly.

We stayed at 32 High Street for a week. The flat was exactly as advertised. It is large and spacious with everythjng thats required for a family to stay. We had a lovely welcome hamper on arrival which was much appreciated. There is also an information pack which contajns everythjng you need to know about the flat, the local amenities and towns/areas further afield. It really does have everything on its doorstep. Pharmacy, post office, newsagents, bakery and several places to eat. The harbour and Black Sands are a short stroll away. Silver Sands is a little further , but a gorgeous stretch of sand. We had the most comfortable stay here. After extremely long days walking/exploring, it was great havjng a soak jn the bath and a great sleep. The beds were lush! We wish Charlotte and Robert all the best. Thank you.

There is so much that I could say about 32 High Street: tasteful décor, spotlessly clean, fantastic location & lovely owners Charlotte & Robert. I stayed here with my two daughters and grandson (aged 10, 22 & 15 months), spending our time exploring the rockpools at black Sands beach, swimming and relaxing. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to eat out in, or a sunny well equipped kitchen if you wish to stay in. Although there isn't any parking space, we easily found a space at the train station day or night. If you like to dabble in writing, the views from the flat, the quaint houses, the ever changing seascape, and the colourful environment of the village is creatively inspiring. After a day of exploring and watching the sun go down at the beach, the cosy relaxing living room was so homely and inviting. We are looking forward to our next stay at number 32! Thank you for having us in your perfect holiday home :)

We were lucky enough to stay here for a couple of weeks before it was officially being rented out. The flat is very clean, light and airy, furnished to a high standard with an excellent modern thermostat and light switches, and bedside lights with a USB connection which was so handy. The lounge is a lovely room for relaxing in the evenings, with a mix of styles (love the Singer sewing machine as a table, we copied this when we got home!), a good selection of books and games, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen is very well-equipped, with great attention to detail – all the desired appliances, a Bose speaker, and even cocktail-making equipment! A great sized bathroom and when there was a problem with the shower, the owners sorted it out immediately. Location is excellent, on Aberdour’s small high street, with newsagent, bakery, chemist and post office/deli. We had an excellent meal at the Aberdour Hotel next door, and also Room with a View down at the beach. Will definitely re-book when we are back in Aberdour.
