The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor double with en-suite shower room, a double with freestanding bath, a ground-floor double with TV, a ground-floor twin with en-suite wet room, and a double, along with a bathroom and ground-floor shower room. Outside, there is a back garden with furniture, an enclosed side courtyard, and private parking. Within 2.3 miles you will find a shop, and within 0.8 miles a pub, whilst the beach is 0.2 miles away. Please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Voebroch welcomes a group of 10 to explore North Yorkshire's spectacular coast and North York Moors. Please note there is one step down into the ground-floor double with TV, please take care. Guests can check-in at 15.00, and check-out by 10.00.

Location Details

Lythe is a small, peaceful village resting between Whitby and Staithes in North Yorkshire. The village is home to St. Oswalds Church, with medieval and anglo saxon connections, along with a Viking burial site, and offers a choice of attractions including the historic Mulgrave Castle just south of the village. Dining options include The Stiddy, a traditional public house serving delicious home-cooked meals, whilst you can stock up on essentials at Lythe's Community Shop and post office.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Voebroch is a beautiful house in stunning location with loads of room for 10 people. The house is sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. The showers are all great, beds super comfy and it’s really quiet. There is a huge table, a kitchen with everything we needed and even a games room for rainy days. 100% recomend

Myself and 7 friends stayed here for a weekend birthday celebration. The Cottage is accessible for disabled guests and is extremely well appointed throughout. It was spotlessly clean and very well catered for in all aspects. Lovely linens and lots of towels. The location is amazing and the views from the bottom of the garden are stunning of Staithes and Runswick Bay. Only a short ride into Whitby and Sandsend - a perfect spot to explore. I would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely be back. The owner could not have been more helpful throughout.

Do not book this property. It had not been cleaned on our arrival, was assured by owner a cleaner would come same night. We stayed in and no one came. There were not enough dining chairs, broken drawers, uncomfortable beds, and cheap furniture. Also dog excrement all over the garden. We also had no hot water for half our stay. The kitchen was poorly equipped with two medium saucepans without any lids for ten people. Very very slow and poor response from owner who shows an absolute disregard for his guests. For example he knew there were not enough dining room chairs but had not rectified the issue. I left a review on the property management company website and there was a very similar review from someone else who stayed after us.
