Reviews

Having holidayed in Weymouth since I was a child, this is probably the best location I have stayed at. It is only a few steps from the harbour side where my 11 year old son enjoys going crabbing and has The Old Rooms pub a few doors away, along with The Crow's Nest restaurant just around the corner. There are plenty of other lovely pubs and restaurants just along the road or across the harbour. The cottage itself is very cosy and traditional but has been renovated in a very modern and beautifully tasteful style. The accommodation is over 3 floors with living area, kitchen/diner and toilet to the ground floor with great facilities. There is also a small yard with table and chairs. Twin bedroom and modern, well furnished bathroom with shower over bath to first floor, and master bedroom with lovely rainfall shower to top floor. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfy and I am definitely going to buy a mattress of the same brand for home. I suffer with back problems and had no issues at all while I was away. This cottage is in a great location for exploring what Weymouth has to offer; Nothe Fort, Nothe Gardens, the stone pier (where a seal came to say hello on our last night), walks on the beach town and shops. Also, convenient for visiting Portland, Chesil Beach, Abbotsbury, Poole, Sandbanks, Bournemouth, Swanage and the whole of Dorset really. Parking is via a permit which allows you to use some of the local car parks. We pulled up outside to unload then parked for the week on Nothe Garden car park. Then, it's a lovely 5 minute walk down the steps and along the harbour to Trinity Street. Would .love to stay here again!
