The Retreat is a lovely detached lodge presenting a family of four with a fabulous base for their Lakes adventures, with the park located in the charming village of Troutbeck Bridge and within reach of all the popular attractions of this beloved national park. Take in the lovely tree-lined surroundings before stepping into the property, turning left to head straight into the open-plan living space, with neutral tones and quality furnishings to greet you, you'll have no trouble settling in here. Choose something on the TV to watch while you sink into the large sofa, with an elegant electric fire adding a homely sense, before making use of the kitchen appliances to rustle up a home-cooked meal for all, with a dining area to gather around for family meals. At the other end of the lodge you can find the pretty bedrooms, with a twin room featuring two 2'6" single beds being perfect for children, and the master double offering a tranquil spot to rest, with both rooms served by a neat shower room.
