A superbly located townhouse in the popular coastal town of Weymouth with views over the bay and within moments of a beautiful sandy beach. The property is set over three floors with a generously sized, open plan living, kitchen dining area on the first floor, complete with patio doors and a Juliet balcony showcasing the splendid views and filling the space with wonderful, natural light. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cater for your party, cooking up a delicious meal to enjoy together at the dining table before retiring to the comfortable sofas to watch a movie or begin a family fun games night. Across the road from the property is a gated private communal garden with a well-kept lawned area with flower and tree borders and a slipway providing private direct access onto Castle Cove beach ideal for launching boats or paddle boards. Just two-minutes’ walk from the front door is Sandsfoot Castle, an iconic ruin overlooking Portland harbour and surrounded by picturesque gardens where you can sit and relax while the children look for fish in the pretty pond. The Rodwell Trail, formerly a railway line, is just moments away and provides a charming walking or cycling route into the town centre in one direction and to Portland in the other. Castle Cove is a firm favourite with locals, sitting along side the Rodwell trail area, Castle Cove Beach is usually uncrowded, and offers safe bathing from it’s gently sloping shoreline. There are two main beach areas, Castle Cove, new steps to the beach opened early in 2019, and Sandsfoot beach, both with soft golden sand and the vibe of the best kept secret. Sandsfoot castle is just two minutes’ walk from the beach where you will find castle ruins, pretty award-winning gardens and a small café, offering snacks, drinks and ice-creams. Accessed off Old Castle Road in Weymouth, this area is a real treat for those who want to be away from the buzz and bright lights of the traditional Weymouth Seafront, and yet close enough to venture there when they choose. When you are on the beach you could be forgiven for thinking you are miles from town, and yet you are only a 15-20 minute walk from the old Harbour and access to Weymouth town centre. If you want to know where the locals would recommend you spend your beach days, then Castle Cove and Sandsfoot beaches are it.

Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
