Boasting beautiful countryside views while being within easy reach of the market town of Hexham and the bustling city of Newcastle upon Tyne, this property is ideal for those looking to explore this scenic area of the country. On arrival at the cottage, step into the sitting room, where a plush sofa invites you kick off your shoes and snuggle with your loved ones in front of the TV. From here, the kitchen, decorated in a light décor letting plenty of light into the space, provides all the necessary amenities to rustle up delectable meals for the whole group as well as a handy washing machine to refresh your clothes throughout your stay. Moving through the property, the dining rooms offers a space for the group to sit down and plan your adventures over a tasty home-cooked meal․ This room also homes a sofa bed, suitable for anu As the evening grows darker you will find two bright and airy bedrooms where you can rest your eyes․ The first bedroom is home to a double bed and the second is set up as a twin which can also be made into a king-size for a flexible sleeping arrangement for a variety of party makeups, perfect for resting your head after a long day of discovering your surroundings. Guests will also benefit from a shower room, fitted with a walk-in shower, basin and WC where you can get ready for another day of exploring the local area. Outside, take advantage of the owners' walled garden and tennis courts overlooking the pretty countryside which encompass the property. If you don't fancy cooking one evening, a scenic walk or short drive will take you to the centre of Corbridge, here you will find a number of restaurants such as Black Bull for pub grub, or Angel Fish & Chip Shops for a traditional fish and chip supper to be enjoyed back at the dwelling. The historic village is home to a wealth of historic sites such as Corbridge Roman Town located at Hadrian's Wall, home to a musuem and visitor centre, and the National Trust sites of Penshaw Monument and Gibside. The nearby town of Hexham is home to further attractions and amenities, such as the Hexham Old Gaol, the first purpose-built prison dating back to the 14th century, which is now a museum home to exhibitions on medieval crime.
