Travel cot and highchair. Ample off-road parking. Enclosed garden with seating. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Private water supply. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2.6 miles, pub 3.4 miles. Note: If you wish to use the woodburning stoves, you are required to buy your own fuel, which may be purchased at some local shops. Note: Step access can be difficult in extreme weather. Note: WIFI & Mobile phone coverage can vary, Vodafone and O2 are the best quality. Note: Dogs are not allowed on beds or any of the furniture; you may wish to bring an old towel to wipe muddy paws. Location Details
Torridon is a small village found in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland with National Trust of Scotland acclaim, home to the Torridon Hills and the Loch Torridon, as well as a local shop, pub, a community centre and a deer museum. Nearby destinations include a wealth of beaches and coastal resorts, Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve, Skye Bridge and the Inner Hebridean Islands.

If you are looking for a location that is relatively remote with stunning views then look no further. If you're looking for a cottage that has authentic Scottish appeal (including midges in the summer) and does not aspire to be a "5-star luxury bijou holiday residence" then Glen Cottage is for you. Wildlife in abundance and mountains on your doorstep. There are not many properties where you can arrive to find a stag sat at your front door. We love the cottage and the area. Judging from the large number of positive comments in the visitors book a vast majority of other people who have stayed at Glen Cottage seem to agree with this. Thank you National Trust Scotland.
Stunning Location. Stags come in to the garden at night. Midges but expected in Scotland so unable to sit in the garden. Washing machine , dishwasher and hoover great. The Kitchen is very poorly equipped needs dishes , jugs , baking pans , Pyrex dishes but apart from that lovely kitchen. How it is stocked you would be pushed to cook for a family or a Sunday dinner. Plenty of walks nearby. Stags and deer come out on to the road and in the garden. The downstairs bedroom is very damp , the upstairs shower room also. The house although clean needs a thorough dust in corners. The carpets really need a full deep clean. Apart from these things we had a lovely holiday peak season prices are very steep.
