Location Details

Buxton is a town lying in the county of Derbyshire, situated in the middle of the Peak District National Park and home to a wealth of history and heritage. The famous Buxton Crescent is easily recognised, as is The Buxton Opera House, with this spa town becoming popular in the Victorian era for the fresh spring water's healing properties. Visit Poole's Cavern, Buxton Country Park, The Pavilion Gardens, and discover a wealth of peaks and fells for amazing walks.

Nice enough apartment in a great location. All areas furnished to a decent standard and the kitchen/dining/lounge area is plenty big enough for 4 people. However, it's not acceptable to charge £180 to have so much mould in the ensuite! It's very unhealthy and to have guests breathe in mould spores is totally out of order! Owner needs to spend some of his rental income and get this issue fixed! Disgusting!

Perfectly located in the centre of Buxton. Lots of great pubs, restaurants and shops within walking distance. The apartment was very clean and modern with high quality furnishings and fittings. Plenty of comfortable living space and a separate laundry/utility room that was useful for storing suitcases, jackets & boots. Very cosy and warm in winter, with great views over the town towards The Slopes. The host was very helpful and friendly, with lots of local knowledge. A great place. Highly recommended.

Very spacious apartment set out to an extremely high standard, including top of the kitchen equipment. Perfectly situated in the centre of Buxton, ample restaurants and bars all within easy walking distance. Perfect location for all local tourist attractions. Howard was the perfect host, nothing to much trouble. Definitely will be back again!!

Had a fabulous stay in The Crows Nest, the property has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable, relaxing & enjoyable break away. Right in the heart of Buxton, close to excellent bars & restaurants, the Opera House and Pavilion Gardens. Howard the owner made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. We stayed for 3 nights, ate out two nights and had dinner in on the other night, the owners had thought of everything. Would definitely return

Great location, as it is very central and easy to access amenities in Buxton. Allocated parking is very helpful. Accessing flat is easy and the interior is simply lovely. Very well equipped in every room and finished to a very standard. Very clean. We found our stay comfortable and relaxing and Howard was very welcoming and helpful. We would love to come back and would recommend to anyone. Thank you again Howard.

We had a brilliant week in Buxton. The flat was located opposite the Crescent in the centre of the town and had its own parking place. It had a huge open plan living space recently refurbed with everything you could want - modern kitchen area with American style fridge/freezer with ice and chilled water dispenser, induction hob and clever ovens, large smart TV, washing machine, tumble drier - even a pool table that kept my 8 year old grandson happy. Bedrooms and bathrooms were also excellent. We were given a warm welcome by owner Howard and his son Josh and then found their welcome indoors with wine, milk, tea bags, coffee etc. - just right after a long drive. Our first time in Buxton and we loved the town. Beautiful buildings, great park and lots of good restaurants and bars. We also loved the Peak District - beautiful views and walks and lots of places to visit ranging from Chatsworth House to Gullivers theme park; Crich Tram Museum to Treak Cliff Cavern. The Crows Nest and Buxton are highly recommended.

We were a little hesitant to book this apartment as there were no reviews available at the time, we are so glad we did. The location of the apartment is nothing less than perfect and it is very well equipped! We stayed with our daughter and my parents and there was ample space for you to not feel like you were crammed in together. The open plan kitchen, dining, living room and pool table area is fantastic for spending time all together. Howard was so helpful and is very knowledgeable about the area. We would have felt very comfortable approaching Howard had there been any issues but there were none. We won't hesitate to recommend this apartment to our friends and family.
