Birthday treat for Wife and took three sons and 2 of their girlfriends. 4 bedrooms, 2 king 1 double and single, 2 bathrooms well appointed with conservatory and all mod cons inclusive 2 fires one in lounge and 1 in master bedroom. Light the one in Lounge nothing else needed warmed the whole house up. Ample grounds and our 2 dogs loved it playing chase. Kitchen coped well with home cooking, continental breakfasts and alfresco dining courtesy of Garden furniture set. Hot tub was used by the young ones more than once a day. Enclosed premises with beautiful views, Cows, Red Deer, Rabbits, Grouse and multitude of bird species with one couple (finches) nesting in apex of house, of course had to buy wild bird seed as i spent a lot of time watching them come and go. Great base for touring the lakes. Some great eateries in close proximity with Michelin star rated food Try the Henrock at Linthwaite house hotel Windermere the experience will not disappoint or Masons Arms lovely short drive with stunning views of the lake. Highly recommended do yourself a favour and get either a quite relaxed holiday or one packed with a multitude of activities 15 to 20 minutes short drive away. we will be booking again as it's a gem.
