The surrounding woodland has a network of footpaths to enjoy and the coast, leading on to Crackington Haven and north to Bude, is just 6 miles away. Here the south west coastal path passes over a range of high cliffs and through secret rocky coves. Inland, the countryside gives way to the slopes of Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor can be reached in 40 mins.
