Rudby Hall, Hutton Rudby

What can I say other than the venue and people are absolutely perfect! We researched at 20+ venues that would accommodate 20 guests to celebrate my 50th, we're so glad that we chose Rudby Hall; we had the best time. Going down the drive for the first time scored 10/10 for the WOW factor and it continued to get better from there. Spacious, very well equipped (they even had an ice crusher for the cocktails), warm, immaculately clean, grand and comfortable; I could not have wished to have found a better venue. Plenty of places to visit and dine out just a short drive away, there are a few mini bus taxi operators close by if you’re planning on having a drink (book in advance); there are also lots of great walks for all levels close by. Thanks to Eleanor and the marvelous team at Rudby Hall, we’ll be back!

We hired Rudby Hall for my parents Diamond Wedding Anniversay. Safe to say the house exceeded all our expectations, and the photos dont do it justice. Hosts Neil and Pam so helpful. Although I found the handover at the start of the week a bit daunting, we soon settled into the lifestyle of such a huge mansion, wandering the corridors without getting lost. The great thing about this place is although there were so many of us staying there, you never felt crowded as there is so much space. Every single bedroom was lovely. We hired caterers Penleys for a formal meal one evening, recommended by the owners, and they were superb. Catered for 17 adults and 2 children. Amazing food. The Wheatsheaf pub down the road were also great, we had 2 evening meals there and sunday lunch for 19 - which did not phase them at all. Beware of the Yorkshire sized portions! I absolutley love this house, and despite it size, and it is massive, it felt really cosy. There is something truley special about Rudby Hall, it has a real positive energy around it. I hope to return one day.

We hired the fantastic Rudby Hall for a week to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. A weekend of family followed by 4 days of friends meant a full itinerary of games, celebratory dinners and outdoor fun, and we have left with so many great memories and photos. The management team fronted by the wonderful Eleanor were just delightful in their friendly and professional approach throughout and we could not recommend this venue more highly. Both inside and out, what an occasion it was!!

The Hall was wonderful in every way. We hosted a family and friends 50th birthday and every guest was really impressed. Beautiful bedrooms and en- suites and the reception rooms and kitchen were excellent both with space and facilities. Outside the garden area was great as were the views. Highly recommended, Eleanor and Neil were really helpful in the planning stage and during the visit.

Just returned from the most amazing weekend with family at Rudby Hall. Such an elegant, spacious house in an amazing setting. Having rooms all ensuite was such a bonus, especially as there were 20 of us. All the beds and linens were extremely comfortable. The kitchen is a cooks paradise and so well equipped. We opted to hire a table tennis and pool table too which was a fab addition. A BBQ in the gardens with the lovely outdoor furniture was a super too. Inside the property having a lift was hugely helpful for the older members of our party too. All communication with Eleanor was speedy and helpful. Such a beautiful property and part of the world. We hope to come back again.

We booked Rudby Hall for a big family holiday and it was excellent! Wonderful grounds for the eight grandchildren to play. (Good to have the main lawn area contained by a low wall so they knew the limits.) The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms and bathrooms were luxurious. So much space that it was hard to believe that there were 19 of us in the house. What better than a country house for playing sardines and hide and seek? Stokesley has a local farmers' market (check details in the info pack) and it has a bakery and butchers, too (as well as a large supermarket). There is a farm shop a bit further away in Yarm. We visited Saltburn and Whitby for the seaside, the North York Moors Railway for the fun, Durham for the sightseeing and other more local places for walks. Oldest granddaughter: "Best holiday ever!"

I can’t believe I stayed in a home like this! It was everything I dreamed of! Well kept! Short drives to the nearest towns were very reasonable. The grounds were perfect for the spring time. Would stay again with a group. Nice and quiet English countryside setting.

We've just returned from hosting a Pilates & Wellbeing Retreat with 16 attendees for the weekend and it's been absolutely amazing. The venue is breathtaking, with a fantastically stocked kitchen making it ideal for self-catering for larger groups. Pilates & Meditation in the Library, with simply stunning bedrooms & bathrooms ensured our Retreat guests were immersed in luxury, whilst focusing on their health & wellbeing in surroundings which just allowed us to step off the treadmill of every day life. Exploring the grounds was a real treat! Eleanor was absolutely brilliant in assisting the booking from enquiry to attendance including facilitating a handover for the weekend. We will definitely be back. We're already planning the next retreat! :)

Fabulous Place for Friends and Family. We used Rudby Hall as a venue for a birthday gathering. Everyone loved the place. Great facilities, lovely surroundings. Easy to reach places to explore outside of the hall itself. Friendly and efficient team running the place. Absolutely recommend it.

This place & the whole Rudby hall team gave me and my husband the best day of our lives , to start off our future together we could not have asked for anything more . From the start to the finish everything was flawless , nothing was too much to ask and the support was unreal . The place was perfect for our 60 guests and we partied 6-12 the dance floor was full . Everything we wanted and more , price was very reasonable compared to other places and the outside caterers and mobile bar worked a treat . We have just returned from celebrating my special birthday with my family and friends (23 of us). Rudby Hall is amazing, all the rooms including the fantastic bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds, bathrooms and grounds are just wonderful. The amenities available, including well stocked kitchen of utensils, crockery and glassware was second to none. We received a lovely welcome from Eleanor who was just great from the moment we made the enquiry, to answering all our questions prior to arriving. It was the best time and we would recommend this wonderful property.

I booked rudby hall for our wedding, and it was Truly my dream come true. I couldn’t recommend enough! Eleanor was so helpful and made our wedding weekend run so smooth, we stayed from Friday to Sunday and didn’t want to leave. It’s such a stunning venue with so much character. We had our wedding at Rudby Hall recently and would 100% recommend this beautiful venue. From my first emailing enquiring Eleanor could not have been more helpful and provided so much support I needed along the way. The venue and grounds are absolutely stunning, the fact we had it for the full weekend just made the full experience so special for us! The whole Rudby Hall experience is OUTSTANDING from start to finish. Ben Willis and his team helped enormously with the planning of the stay and always went the extra mile if we had any questions. The property is stunning and each bedroom and bathroom is unique and furnished to an incredibly high standard. We entertained 19 guests in total, ten "older" adults and nine 18 year olds each and every person described it as one of the nest experiences of their lives. You won't want to leave the place it's that good, but please when you go, treat the Hall with the respect it truly deserves. We can't speak highly enough about Rudby Hall and Ben and his team

A private stay in the hall exceeded expectations. Facilities were fantastic with more than comfortable bedding, water as hot as one could stand and soft plush towels. Location sucked me back to my countryside roots, filling me with the nostalgia of breathing in fresh air but smelling smoke from a roaring log fire. The booking and checking in process as smooth as the Yorkshire Brack cake in the welcome pack. I can’t wait to come back and know that I’ll be welcomed back by the halls stunning features.

We recently had the best day ever at our wedding at Rudby Hall. Eleanor and the team were absolutely fantastic throughout the whole planning process. The day could not have run smoother. The facilities and the grounds are the most beautiful. It was so amazing to be able to stay the whole weekend in this beautiful home with our families. We got married at Rudby Hall in May 2022 and I already miss the place immensely! Eleanor, Ben and the crew gave us a Wedding that made us feel like King's & Queens for the day. The building is incredible and worth every penny! If I had the money, I'd buy the place! Highly rated!

We had our wedding at Rudby Hall and couldn't have chosen a better venue! It's a beautiful venue with fantastic facilities. Eleanor Neil and Ben were all brilliant at organising the day and making sure everything ran smoothly. With it being a dry hire venue & exclusive use, there are so many options of what type of wedding you can have and having the venue on the Friday night to relax with guests made it extra special. The house and all the rooms are lovely and it would be fantastic place to hire out for a holiday.

We had our Wedding at Rudby Hall it was perfect . The venue was ours exclusively which meant our guests could relax and wander round as they pleased . The setting is beautiful with lovely views . The Hall itself is very well maintained with lovely rooms and gardens . It was immaculate . The team at Rudby Hall were very professional and were intent that we had the best time - and we did . Nothing was too much trouble got them All the staff were lovely and mixed with our guests very well . We had such a good time - Thank you to everyone . A special Thank you to Eleanor for all she did for us …..and of course booking the sunshine for us

We had the best Wedding weekend with our family and friends celebrating together in the beautiful setting. Eleanor and the team looked after us from start to finish making it all simple but allowing us to do in our own way. Now we just want to do it all again!!

Can not rate Rudby Hall highly enough, just had our daughters wedding here, fabulous venue, spectacular views, wonderful rooms , Neil , Ben and Eleanor the most loveliest of people, felt more like true friends, a special shout out to Eleanor who was fantastic and the reception flowed perfectly with her superb timing and talent. Rudby Hall is simply stunning. Neil, Pam, and Ben were the perfect hosts making our stay unforgettable. The rooms, the facilities and the friendly atmosphere could not be bettered.

As a group of nurses, care professionals and key workers our stay at Rudby Hall was just what the doctor ordered. The owners of Rudby Hall welcomed us with open arms, they went above and beyond to ensure we had the most amazing stay in their stunning home, providing us with little extras as a thank you for everything we do in our daily work for the NHS. They put up Christmas decorations, and christmas trees, and made the house look cozy and Christmasy for us as we are all working over the Christmas and new year period, also a lovely welcome package which went down a treat. The rooms are decorated and furnished to an extremely high standard and very much in keeping with the style of the house. The grounds are immaculate and the views are stunning. You are provided with all the comforts of home and more. You will NOT be disappointed if you ever choose to stay at Rudby Hall. A big thank you to Neil and his family, and we look forward to seeing you again. Candy and crew.

A massive thank you to Neil and family for a truly wonderful break. The house, facilities, grounds and service are exceptional. Having been let down 2 weeks before a break to our original destination, this can only be described as a blessing in disguise. We are already planning our next weekend to this beautiful venue. Cannot recommend it enough

We booked the main house at short notice after being let down by our original booking elsewhere …… we are so happy we were let down as this place was amazing !! We stayed as a group of 14 friends all of a certain age …we were introduced around the house by Neil who had also left us a lovely welcome pack . The house itself is beautifully maintained and decorated to a very high standard ….. we had early festive celebrations , good friends , beautiful surroundings and wonderful Xmas decor …… would definitely recommend this beautiful venue .

We recently attended a wedding here and was blown away by the incredible views. From the moment we arrived, we was well looked after by Neil and his team. Nothing was to much to ask and they all went above and beyond. We stayed in the Mrs Jordan suite which was very spacious and overlooked the grounds. Would highly recommend!

Attended a wedding here. The venue is stunning and provided a wonderful ambience for the wedding weekend. Exceptional service and quality of food throughout the weekend. Cottages brilliant for guests with very high quality facilities throughout each cottage. Thank you Neil, Ben, Pam and Eleanor for all your hospitality.

A lovely holiday for our extended family with teenage kids. Stayed at the main house. Intriguing, charming and beautiful property, spacious grounds (ideal for games), and a great base to explore the area (which has been a revelation). Facilities excellent. Staff impeccable! We will be back.

I came here recently for a friends wedding and was incredibly impressed with the beautiful grounds and the staff the most. I stayed in the “Carey” suite which was impeccably clean with an absolutely enormous bathroom with a stand alone bath. The staff were fantastic and made you feel like no request was too big or too small and so friendly you ended up on first name basis with them. I ground itself is stunning which made it perfect for the wedding pictures. I would love to get married here myself. Definitely recommend

I recently attended a wedding at Rudby Hall. We stayed in the Garden Apartment which is so clean and has recently been renovated. It’s a beautiful venue with fantastic views of the surrounding areas. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to provide the best experience. Would highly recommend! :)

Stayed for a weekend in the room at the top floor of the main building at Rudby Hall. Absolutely gorgeous! Spacious and very clean. Great location, very beautiful. Friendly and helpful stuff. Breakfast was very good.

Recently attending a wedding at this venue. It’s a beautiful building set within fabulous gardens with lovely views. The staff could not have been more helpful and generous , nothing was too much trouble for Neil , Ben and the entire team. A great time was had by all. Would thoroughly recommend this venue .

Stayed for a recent wedding - stunning views across the Cleveland hills matched by the elegantly decorated rooms, staff were amazing - too many to name but big shout to Tom, Ben an Neil, will definitely be returning!

We have just returned from a week staying in the Garden Apartment at Rudby Hall and what a wonderful week it was! We were greeted with a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the host. The apartment is enormous! Beautiful high ceilings and a sense of openness and cleanliness was immediately apparent. The windows overlook the grounds to the main hall and it was wonderful watching the rabbits (and owls!) of an evening in what is a lovely tranquil setting. The courtyard garden was great for the children to blow off some steam and have a bbq on the warm nights. We found it a fantastic base to explore the moors, coastline and quaint villages like Great Ayton. We will definitely be back!

Just returned from a lovely week spent in the garden apartment. Neil and his wife Pam were there to greet us and show us round . We stayed in the left hand side of the hall which has been newly decorated. Two bedrooms with super king size beds . Lovely bright and light decor throughout. So peaceful at night and our own private garden to relax in . We enjoyed hiking the moors which were In easy reach . Neil mentioned that they would eventually have fine dining in the main hall all we would have to do is go through a gate in our garden to get there . This would be great as it means no more driving out to eat . Neil Pam and their son Ben were very friendly and efficient hosts . We wish them well with their exciting plans and hope to return soon
