Park up to two cars on the off-road parking area before entering into the property, with a ramp leading up to double doors and into the kitchen/diner. Be impressed by the range cooker and hob, along with lots for excellent quality appliances to assist you on your self-catered stay, with underfloor heating throughout the property and a quaint, country style. Enjoy your meals at the dining table together before spending your evening relaxing within the sitting room; light the woodburning stove for extra warmth in winter and settle on one of the sofas before tuning into the TV. A lovely ground-floor bedroom is home to a five-foot queen-size bed and features a wet room with a shower, basin and WC, making this the ideal spot for someone with mobility issues. Take the stairs to the first floor to find a king-size bedroom and a charming triple bunk room containing a three-tier bunk bed, perfect for children. Freshen up in the family bathroom up here too, home to a bath with an overhead shower, or head outside and make use of the handy external shower room to rinse off before getting in the cottage's private hot tub for a relaxing soak. Enjoy fun summer days playing in the outdoor swimming pool, heated in the summer months, or lounge on the outdoor furniture whether sunbathing or dining alfresco. The nearest village which is home to both shops and pubs is Saxilby, a lovely settlement and home to a train station too. Head into the city of Lincoln to do some sightseeing, making sure to visit Lincoln Cathedral to tour the grounds, roof and tower and soak up the fabulous views, as well as making a stop at Lincoln Castle which hosts events throughout the year and offers free guided tours around the walls, Victorian prison and is also home to a copy of the 1215 Magna Carta. Being the cultural hub of the county, Lincoln is home to museums, galleries and theatres, including the Museum of Lincolnshire Life, the award-winning archaeology museum The Collection, and Gainsborough Old Hall.
