On the edge of Dorchester rests Maumbury Rings, a grassed Roman amphitheatre which is a lovely spot for a picnic, and in the summer months it becomes a great venue for music and theatre events. Great location. Well equipped and very comfortable cottage with comfy bed, great shower and well equipped kitchen. We had a great stay as it was so close to Durdle Door, Studland Bay, Weymouth and so many other great places in Dorset. We loved May Wood in Bere Regis, Brian May wildlife project for walking our dog as it’s a great space and fab views. We parked our car at the top of the road which is a minute walk from the cottage and always had a space to park.
This property has no parking whatsoever- you park in the road and block the entire road access for all
