Set on the fringes of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons National Park), Penperlleni is an idyllic and rural hamlet in southeast Wales. Home to a friendly local pub with restaurant and a handy convenience store, this town has everything you could possibly need throughout your stay. The neighbouring towns of Abergavenny and Crickhowell provide plenty of fun, with scenic walking trains in abundance, whilst slightly further afield Newport and Lydney are well-worth a visit.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Just a warning if you've booked with pets..please check before departure Unfortunately on our weeks holiday and others before us the gardens are not enclosed due to the wide electronic gates not working and a main road not too far away ,so I'm afraid it is not dog friendly or enclosed which is a real shame as the garden is beautiful . Perhaps just ordinary gates would be more practical for everyone.
An absolutely beautiful cottage which has everything you need and more! Superbly equipped with extremely comfortable beds and lovely quilts! Lovely kitchen diner, 3 great bathrooms, superb garden areas. So much more at this property than others we have stayed at. Brilliant location on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, near to Zip World Tower, Brecon and Monmouthshire canal, Four waterfall walks, Brecon Mountain Railway and tons of beautiful walks. Goytre Wharf a few mins drive or 30 min walk away for canoe hire, or day boat hire. Nice pub, The Horseshoe, down the road Met the owners and they couldn't have been more helpful and lovely! We would stay at this property again in a hearbeat!
