Location Details
Popular since Victorian times, the dynamic seaside town of Scarborough has many of its original beautiful buildings, parks and gardens, as well as its mediaeval castle which overlooks the town. North Bay and South Bay feature two outstanding stretches of gorgeous, golden sandy beaches, popular with families and little children. There are a multitude of child friendly activities and several good visitor attractions for grown-ups too, including the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough Spa and Scarborough Open Air Theatre for live music. Scarborough is a superb site for outdoor sports, with golf courses, lovely seaside walks along the Cleveland Way, stunning cycle paths such as the former railway to Whitby, beautiful sailing and championship standard surfing.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

We have just come home from staying at this magnificent house in Scarborough. The railway house is perfect for large groups. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay and everything is of very high standard. There is 10 bedrooms with the most comfortable beds. The owner Jaime was most helpful and even had a luxury hamper full of essential waiting for us on arrival. There is private parking enough for 6 to 8 cars. The house is central to all amenities
This is a fantastic house that caters for large families. It has everything that we could have wanted, The adults and kids both enjoyed the hot tub, the kids loved the football table and the playstation.. Another great feature was that if you wanted time to yourself.you could definitely do this in this house. The house is also perfectly situated, close to to the town and the beach - approximately a 10 minute walk. The parking was great for us - we had 5 cars for our party.
We stayed here on a very sunny weekend as a large group of 7 families and had a brilliant time. The property is huge, and has been brand newly beautifully renovated. It’s right by the train station so super convenient for getting there by train which some of our group did. Loads of parking outside too though. The kitchen and living spaces were a great size for us - the kitchen kitted out with everything we needed and everything was brand new. Massive amount of bedrooms and the beds were very very comfortable. The hot tub in the yard was an added bonus and enjoyed by all! This is a very fancy, beautiful holiday house- highly recommend.
