Pwll Gwaelod and Cwm-Yr-Eglwys beaches are only a few minutes away, both offering breathtaking scenery and the opportunity for peaceful days in ideal settings. The general public rarely notices these beaches unless they divert from the main route through the village, which includes a petrol station, two pubs, a fish and chip shop, and a restaurant at Pwll Gwaelod beach. It's a terrific place to go boating in Newport, a seaside town that's full of interesting shops, tea houses, and pubs.
