Location Details
Liskeard, a historic market town, sits at the head of the Looe Valley in southeast Cornwall. Several stores, bars, and eateries can be found in this town. Looe, a charming fishing port with a beach and harbour, is only 9 miles away. Cotehele House (NT) and gardens, the Donkey Sanctuary at St. Ann's Chapel, and the championship golf course at St. Mellion International Resort all lie in between the two. A trip to the Eden Project is a great way to spend the day with the kids. Plymouth, a maritime city with the National Maritime Museum, the historic Barbican docks area, and excellent shopping, theatres, and restaurants, is only a short drive away.
