Enjoying seasonal on-site facilities such as an indoor pool, sauna and tennis courts, families can come together and enjoy a memorable trip here. Step inside and be welcomed into the open plan living area, offering a sumptuous corner sofa where you can curl up and catch up on your favourite shows. After building up an appetite, head to the kitchen for a tasty snack, equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge. The dining area has plenty of seating for families to gather round and enjoy a delightful home-cooked meal. Upstairs has one double and twin bedroom, served by a shower room, where you can enjoy a refreshing rinse. Step outside and enjoy fresh air from the patio garden, offering a calm spot to enjoy your morning coffee, before venturing to a nearby convenience store to source the ingredients for a hearty breakfast. On-site guests are treated to a good selection of amenities; relax in the hot tub and sauna or take a dip in the indoor pool before grabbing a snack at the poolside bar. There is also a small on-site shop for when you run out of bread or milk. Gulval is a delightful base from which to explore this part of Cornwall, offering The Coldstreamer Inn for a refreshing pint and a bite to eat, or head on to Agapanthus Tea Rooms for a spot of Cornish cream tea. While you're in the area, Penzance offers so many wonderful attractions just a stone's throw away. Head down to the expansive beach where you can enjoy a fun-filled day of swimming, surfing or tanning or visit the unique sights of Penzance Harbour, offering a promenade and choice of galleries. Use the town centre as a shopping hub with a variety of independent shops and supermarkets, whilst on the outskirts you can join the South West Coast Path for stunning scenery. No WiFi connection in the cottage, so we upgraded & paid £25.00 unfortunately it was still extremely poor, unable to access the internet to book swimming pool times for availability The bed settee was extremely uncomfortable The whole kitchen & fridge smells of Sick & cookware was dirty The bathroom mirror fell off the wall in the middle of the night The shower drain plug was full of hair Outdoor picnic bench was green very old and unsafe to sit on We stayed on site one night for food & to play bingo, only to be told that it was cash only for bingo, not explained to us until we had paid for the meal on card, & the staff wouldn’t allow us to pay by card to play bingo! I wouldn’t recommend this site to anyone else.
