Location Details
Felton, a Northumberland village located between Morpeth and Alnwick, is a charming place to visit. Nearby Alnwick, with its castle and now-famous garden (which includes Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden, and an ornamental walled garden), the village has a shop with a post office, a coffee shop, and a pub and restaurant. Another reason it's famous is because it's where "Harry Potter" movies' Hogwarts School was filmed. Shopping, dining, and attractions abound in Alnwick; the town's golden sand beaches, castles, and the Farne Islands are all close by, as are boat trips to the fabled Farne Islands. All in all, it's a great place to visit Northumberland and its beautiful Heritage Coast.
