Spend your down time beside the woodburning stove, resting your legs after a day of rambling, or take to the amply-equipped kitchen to prepare a hearty feast, offering all the essential appliances, crockery and cooking utensils needed for a short break. Sit at the dining table and toast to a charming getaway with your loved one, or perhaps the sound of alfresco dining on a warm summer evening is more to your taste? Freshen up within the walk-in shower in the shower room before making yourself at home within the double bedroom, with excellent solid oak furniture to make use of. However you decide to spend your holiday, Shepherds Retreat is a great base for exploring the whole of the Peak District.
