Sleeping two, plus and infant, it’s perfect for a romantic escape to St Ives. The kitchen, dining and sitting area form part of a spacious open plan living area, lit by natural light from French double doors, which lead out to an enclosed private courtyard, stylish interiors include oak flooring running throughout, a neutral calming palette and mood lighting, to create just the right atmosphere to unwind on holiday, relax into either of the two leather sofas, comfortably seating four, and enjoy the entertainment on the television. Conveniently located next to the kitchen, ideal for socialising with those preparing meals, the dining area is within the open plan living area, an oak topped dining table with four chairs offer a lovely setting to dine in, or if you prefer the private courtyard offers an alfresco option, the contemporary kitchen with cream units teamed with black granite worktops and washer/dryer is well-appointed with everything you need for your holiday. Shops, restaurants and the supermarkets along with local busses to St Ives are all within a short walk, an alternative way to see the surrounding area is by the nearby scenic railway, it runs beside the beaches and the sea views are breath-taking, or if you love walking a short stroll leads you to the nearby South West coast path, it heads to Hayle or St Ives, with Carbis Bay Beach reached first, this wonderful stretch of golden sand, is lapped by azure waters, which have been awarded a blue flag for their quality, with a seasonal lifeguard service it’s a great place to catch a wave or enjoy a swim. The pretty Cornish fishing village of St Ives is set around an arc shaped harbour, filled with a variety of cafes and restaurants served by its daily fresh catch of sea food, foodies will love dining out in St Ives especially at restaurants like the Michelin Plate, Porthminster Beach Café, set right on the beach, a wonderful setting for a meal with views as good as the food, the town has inspired many artist, to enjoy some of the famous pieces visit the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, or browse for gifts among its many boutiques and galleries. Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside town of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the boutique hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branchline. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country.

Carbis Bay, a little seaside village near St Ives, is well-known for its stunning stretch of sugar-white sand beach. The beach has a tropical vibe thanks to its turquoise waves and sheltered location, making it ideal for an old-fashioned day at the beach. Ocean Sports Centre is located on beach, so if sunbathing isn't your thing, why not rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard? Alternatively, why not book a spa day at the beachfront boutique hotel, which features a stunning terrace where you can sip cocktails while taking in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay is home to a handful of small businesses and eateries, as well as a fish and chip shop and a railroad spur. It's hard to imagine a more picturesque way to travel to St. Ives than by train from Carbis Bay.
