Perhaps best known for Burnby Hall Gardens where you’ll find eight acres of gloriously beautiful gardens with two large lakes, home to the National Collection of water lilies. Nearby is the Pocklington canal, ideal for nature walks and bird watching. Also nearby, on the cycle track to Beverley is Rifle Butts Quarry, a nature reserve full of wildflowers and butterflies in summer, providing an introduction to the wildlife typical of the Yorkshire Wolds.
