Tyee Cottage has been decorated and furnished to a lovely standard throughout, providing a warm and welcoming accommodation in a reverse level layout, ideal for families looking to access the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. Step inside to find two neatly presented bedrooms, including a double and twin, offering a relaxing spot to rest your head following a day of outdoor rambles. Head upstairs to find the open-plan living area, a sociable space for the group to gather and discuss the days events, hosting a country style kitchen for preparing your home-cooked meals and a sitting area from which family film nights can be enjoyed. The small village of Burton-in-Kendal offers a village post office, a convenience store and an all-in-one pub and restaurant where you can enjoy a tasty meal if you fancy a night off cooking. A number of delightful walks and cycle routes can be found from the door, whilst the nearby medieval Devil's Bridge at Kirkby Lonsdale and the Lune Valley, a favourite haunt of the artist Turner, are well worth a visit. Venture into the Lake District National Park and explore the many charming towns and villages; spend an afternoon in Ambleside, browsing the quirky shops and attractions before enjoying a relaxing cruise across Lake Windermere, offering a different way to admire the Lakeland’s beauty, or visit the popular town of Bowness where you can learn about the fascinating life of Beatrix Potter. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability.
