Location Details
The historic market town of Alnwick is known for its dominating Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland. In 2002 The Castle Gardens opened o the public, boasting Europe's largest cascading water feature, a fabulous (and enormous) treehouse, a delightful rose garden and a beautiful, walled ornamental garden. Harry Potter fans will recognise the castle as being the set for Hogwarts, while the town itself offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and an array of attractions.

Great location in the centre of Alnwick with limited parking outside but free parking less than 100yds away. Convenient for shops and all town amenities, restaurants, Playhouse, castle and gardens etc. Accommodation is superb with every convenience provided. Secluded and quiet means no noise of any sort. large rooms and lovely decor. Washing machine and drying rail, hallway with under stairs storage for boots, coats etc. Kitchen and living acom is up a small flight of stairs. Lovely morning sun into the kitchen which has new fittings, microwave, fridge,cooker, breakfast bar, and all you need supplied. Large living space with huge TV and sweet built in office desk with books and games. Alison provided a super welcome basket and Prosecco, beer and milk in the fridge. The house was always as warm as toast and plenty of cleaning items supplied so you do not need to buy anything at all. Bathroom has a bath with shower above. Huge shower head. Heated towel rail. Lovely outside courtyard area with bistro table and chairs. although we did not use it, it would be a lovely, private place to sit.
