Whether you’re a pro surfer or beginner, nothing quite beats spending a day in the great outdoors, followed by an evening hunkered down in the warming comfort of a humble abode, and Pinewood 14 invites you to do just that. The nautical sitting room is a lovely spot to play a game of cards or relax in front of the TV, with the window seats offering the ideal vantage point for admiring the view – make sure to look out at the sunset, it’s not to be missed! Retire to the two bedrooms for a restful night’s sleep, ready to wake up fresh for more days spent discovering the best of North Cornwall’s natural playground. Take a stroll around Polzeath where you will find a beach shop, seaside eateries, businesses offering watersport equipment hire and surfing lessons, and the popular Pasty Cellar bakery, all near the sandy shore. The picturesque coastline boasts idyllic trails along the South West Coast Path, and we suggest you walk to Pentire Point for stunning elevated views of The Rumps, a twin headland promontory overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. For a day out exploring further afield, the fishing village of Port Isaac is just seven miles away by car. Although small, Port Isaac offers much to see and do, and you may even recognise its famous harbour from the Fisherman’s Friends film and Doc Martin TV series. Ideally situated just a five-minute walk to Polzeath’s popular surfing beach, in close proximity to pubs, restaurants and beautiful trails, this is a lovely base for a seaside holiday in North Cornwall.
