The kitchen/diner has an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and a washing machine. For entertainment, there is a TV with Freesat and DVD player, WiFi and a selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with furniture. The cottage accepts one well-behave dog. Smoking is not allowed. This beautiful homestay rests in the hamlet of Marton, just outside of Kirkbymoorside, giving you access to Helmsley, Pickering and so much more. Stone-built, with a pantile roof, this converted barn offers a family of four or a group of friends the opportunity to explore a wonderful region of Yorkshire. Park up your car in front of the garage or directly in front of the cottage and step into the hallway, where you can kick off your walking boots and hang your coats after a brisk countryside trail. This then leads through to a contemporary, well-equipped kitchen/diner, complete with lovely, fitted units and a large dresser, in which you can stock all of your favourite treats. This lovely room offers seating for four and is a homely space to host family dinners around the dining table. After washing up, head into the cosy sitting room and unwind with your loved ones, choosing to watch a programme on the Freesat TV or simply chat about the day's events and plan tomorrow's. The oak flooring and beautiful stone fireplace add bundles of character to the cottage, allowing you to make the most of a country cottage getaway with the warmth of a woodburning stove.
