What a gem of a place! We spent a fabulous week here at the beginning of March. We have stayed at many properties with our group of friends over the years and Routhorpe House is among our best and memorable stays. Very well equipped kitchen and fabulously comfy beds. Loved the hot tub, that was a bonus. Really enjoyed exploring the area, and hoping we may return one day.

We have just returned home from another fabulous long weekend at Routhorpe House. My step-Dad was turning 60 and as it was a special milestone birthday, there was only one place that was ever going to be suitable for us to celebrate- Routhorpe House. We first visited last Easter for my Mum’s birthday and had such an incredible time that we were eager to return. There were 9 of us altogether; we arrived on Friday lunchtime and left (reluctantly) late morning on the Monday. Our whole weekend from start to finish was just fabulous. There were lots of little personal touches which made us feel like we were coming home- a delicious cake to welcome us and bottles of fizz, as well as other amenities in the fridge to enjoy. The quality of the furniture, the bedding, the beds themselves, the garden; everything is immaculate, luxurious and of the highest quality. We were very sad to leave but we know we will be back to Routhorpe in the near future and are very excited for when that time arrives. It isn’t goodbye, it is see you later :) a huge thank you to Carl for being so attentive and always just on the other end of the phone for anything we needed. A Wonderful weekend! Thank you xx

What a gorgeous house to stay in! Myself, family and friends thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It was perfectly clean and beautifully decorated. The grounds around the house were lovely too, perfect for family time. Great location and the house has everything you need! Bathrooms in particular were amazing! We would love to come back and stay here again in the summer.

From the moment we walked in it was wow, wow, wow. Great comfy beds and a superb equipped kitchen. Beautifully decorated with a impressive fire in the lounge. Garden and parking excellent. Fantastic house for our family holiday, with day trips to York and Bridlington within easy reach. Carl was very friendly and the bottles of Prosecco a welcome touch, thank you .

We have just returned from a fantastic family holiday. 3 families, consisting of 6 adults and 4 children spanning 3 generations. We had so much fun together and the house is to the highest standard. The gardens were used a lot as was the hot tub. Carl was an excellent host who looked after us throughout our stay with 1st class communication. This is a place we will most certainly return to.

We have just come back from Routhorpe House for our fabulous friends 40th birthday celebrations. Routhorpe House is beautiful. The location is perfect for Bridlington which we visited whilst we were there. The weather has been perfect too so were able to enjoy the grounds and the hot tub. Carl was really accommodating and always on hand to answer any questions we had with a quick response. We were also left a couple of chilled bottles of prosecco and complimentary tea and coffee which was a nice touch. My only criticism was we could have done with more bin liners as we were a large group but apart from that i could not fault the time we had a Routhorpe House. Will definitely recommend and definitely return.

Had an excellent fews days at Routhorpe House. Carl was very helpful thoughout. Kitchen / diner was brilliant for cooking and eating together, with it really well equipped. Even baking equipment. Tried the hottub on the second night with the built in disco lights in the kitchen. Also spent an evening in the nice comfy living room watching a film together. Perfect for a weekend away with friends!

Absolutely perfect! Couldn't have asked for better. We went for a 40th birthday surprise (all girls) and the owner and Sandra made it so easy for us as they were able to arrange all the little extras I wanted. Would 100% recommended and would definitely return in a heartbeat. Stunning area, very secluded. Very modern and high standard amenities. 5 gorgeous bedrooms and very comfortable beds. 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs. Beautiful kitchen where we spent most of our time with there being 10 of us and fabulous weather. French doors leading out into the stunning garden area where you can find the hot tub which we loved and the speakers built into the hot tub was ideal for us. Couldn't find one fault at all!

Had a fabulous weekend at Routhorpe House, very secluded and private. Not too difficult to find (we did drive straight past) but easy enough to get back to on the road. Very cosy and the hot tub was great. All facilities you could possibly want for a weekend away with friends.

We loved our stay at Routhorpe House. there were 10 of us visiting for a hen party. The house was so well equipped, we wanted for nothing. Carl was on hand to answer my questions if we had any, he offered to set up the garden games for us and was helpful with our questions about the hot tub. The house is secluded enough so that we felt we wouldn't bother anyone, but with some amenities near by. It's decorated to a very high standard and feels so comfortable. We're already making plans to go again. We would 100% recommend this house - it's fabulous.

Fantastic weekend stay, the house is immaculate with everything provided you might ever need. Carl, one of the owners, couldn't do enough to ensure we had a pleasant stay, even offering to come back and help us change a flat tyre. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone. Thank you

We had an amazing time at Routhorpe House during February half term week. Family of 9 and the house has something for everyone, we didn't want to leave! We all thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub especially in the snow. Had 4 children with us aged between 5 and 12 and they were never bored, not even for 5 minutes.... they really enjoyed having the outdoor space to play on the swing set and a fab few games of hide and seek once the snow had melted. Added bonus of having Netflix on all the TVs for the rainy days The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay and communication from them was brilliant. Large bedrooms, comfy beds and stunning bathrooms, especially the roll top bath Looking forward to booking again and spending another week in this gorgeous house

Living room bedrooms and showers amazing, very new and to very high specifications. WiFi is great pretty much perfect signal in all rooms. Great communication from the owners and felt safe and secure with a remote accessed gate. Would highly recommend this property

We stayed here over the CHRISTMAS period and it was fabulous! The house was beautifully decorated with a tree and the table was laid ready for CHRISTMAS dinner. There were presents left and 2 fabulous hampers which were a real touch. There was plenty of space for 10 of us and all the rooms had tv’s and fluffy towels which were lovely! The owner was super friendly and on hand if needed. The hot tub was the cherry on top!

Rated by Andreatrav3ls reviewed on 3rd January 2022

Amazing property, it looked amazing on the photos but in real life it was so much better. Everything immaculately clean, the kitchen had everything you could ever need to cook. There was 8 of us and we cooked a huge roast dinner with no problems. The Christmas tree and decorations were a great touch and massively appreciated. Communication with the owner was fantastic and was on hand whenever we had a query. Couldn’t recommend the property enough and it was great to see a rental that wasn’t charging extortionate prices just because it was close to Christmas. Wouldn’t hesitate to return we had a great time. Also the hot tub was the best hot tub we have ever seen in a holiday property. Thanks very much

Very clean and tidy, plenty of useful information, beds really comfy, ample super soft towels each and toiletries. A fantastic base to explore the Yorkshire Wolds! The house is the most luxurious and well equipped property we have ever stayed in. It had everything you could possibly need and from the moment you step inside it is warm, welcoming and you immediately relax! On arrival we were welcomed with a generous hamper and for the children a brilliant Halloween hamper and pumpkin! The beds are so comfy, the showers and amazing roll top bath are excellent and the ability to change the lighting colours in the kitchen and bathroom were a great hit! The house is a perfect place to explore Whitby, York and Dalby Forest to name a few and there is so much to do - easy access to the coast as well. Great communication from the hosts who kindly checked in with us to check everything was running smoothly. All in all a fantastic, relaxing break and we would highly recommend!

Routhorpe House is a beautiful property on an ideal plot of land. Outside is very quiet and has a lovely feel of total privacy. Inside, the home is very well appointed, beautifully decorated and wants for nothing. It is also one of the cleanest rentals we have stayed in. A total credit to the owner!
