Great Torrington is a picturesque town perched high above the River Torridge, just fifteen minutes from the stunning North Devon shore at Westward Ho! Dartington Crystal is a popular tourist site where visitors can learn about the history of glassmaking. The town features a diverse assortment of unique stores, a welcoming ambiance, and some excellent inns. The outstanding RHS garden at Rosemoor, about a mile from Great Torrington, is spectacular in the summer with colourful roses.
