Portree is a charming village boasting an excellent range of shops, pubs and restaurants, all along a stunning harbour on the Isle of Skye. Cultural attractions include Aros Centre and Skyeworks Gallery, whilst sports enthusiasts can enjoy kayaking, rock-climbing and fantastic walking routes. Portree is nearby to stunning scenery and attractions, such as Dunvegan Castle and Trotternish Ridge, making it the perfect location for your Isle of Skye adventures.

CAREFUL!!! NO HOT WATER IN THE BATHROOM!!! On the 12th and 13th of August 2022, my family and I spent £1236 on two of the worst nights of our trip to Scotland. There was NO HOT WATER for two nights in a row! As we had sweated so much from hiking during the day we had to shower with the cold, biting ice water in the bathroom, which caused my 65 years old mum to catch a cold. In addition, the washing machine here was filthy and ruined all my clothes, so I had to re-wash them by hand for over two hours without hot water. I contacted the owner as soon as I found there was NO HOT WATER but received no response or help. I tried to contact the owner and caretaker again early the next morning and called them to discuss the situation, unfortunately, no one came to help me with the problem or offered to contact me. When we got home, I decided to make a complaint through booking.com. The staff said that the owner had left a message on booking.com saying that we had ruined his bathroom and floor and messed up the bedding etc. The owner tried to blame us for all the problems with the house, sparing no effort to defame us as criminals who had vandalised his house, yet these were malicious slanders. I paid a high price for two nights. However, 1 Mill Park, Portree did not meet the basic standards of accommodation, which should provide hot water and a clean room for customers. What I got instead was NO HOT WATER, a pile of ruined clothes, my mother being unwell for the rest of the trip, and THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS SLANDER. I think it was money poorly spent and I was not treated with respect by the owners or caretakers. Two days at 1 Mill Park ruined what would have been a wonderful holiday for my family and me and we were severely damaged mentally and spiritually. So if you want to spend a night with NO HOT WATER on an otherwise wonderful holiday with your family, a super high room rate, and suffering the vitriol of the owners, then feel free to book 1 Mill Park, Portree, IV51 9EY. It and its owners will definitely meet those needs!

Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability.
