Buxton is a beautiful town near the Peak District National Park. This town is the perfect place for those who want to escape the city and enjoy nature. The Pavilion Gardens is a beautiful garden right in the middle of the town with a stunning fountain and a lovely view of the Peak District. There are also other great parks and attractions, such as Poole's Cavern and Buxton Country Park. There are many great restaurants and bars in Buxton, such as Ithaca Greek Taverna.

We arrived to find a very clean, fresh, well presented apartment, the kitchen had all appliances for a family that likes to eat in, and for a long stay a washing machine, means less packing……the apt is ideally placed to explore Buxton and the surrounding area….Buxton has plenty of very good eateries as well as some good beer available at the Tap room……
